State Information Resources Interoperability Platform (SIRIP)

What We Did

SIRIP (www.epaslaugos.lt) is an e-Government platform, created to provide centralized access to public e-Services in Lithuania. Platform provides full range of services, ranging from infrastructure services, such as Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Software as a service (SaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS) to customer facing services (such as online access to state registries, permit request and retrieval etc.). It also provides unified authorization and authentication services for all nation-wide public sector services, provides proxy services for EU-wide authentication service platform.

Technologies & Tools Oracle DBMS, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Data Integrator, CA Service Desk Management, RSA Authentication Manager, GrayLog and enVision SIEM solutions.

SIRIP also acts as a software platform that has tools and engines to develop and host public facing services. SIRIP serves more than 600 different public eServices, over 200 public entities own these services. SIRIP operates in a 24x7 model and service-level agreement (SLA) for the services is 99.97.

The platform is a fusion of best of this kind of tools accompanied by bespoke solutions. Infrastructure is based on Oracle SOA Suite package, with database engine from Oracle running in high availability (HA) mode across multiple geographical sites. The cloud infrastructure is implemented using VMWare products.

Bespoke solutions implemented using Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE), with ZK framework on the front-end. Oracle BPEL, Oracle Service Bus used for integration/workflow related activities.
